This virtual breastfeeding antenatal workshop is a FREE 2 hour course available to any Sandwell parents and is hosted by the Breastfeeding network Sandwell peer support team. Sandy Bear Story Time Sessions are interactive story sessions for families with children under the age of 5. The sessions are led by a librarian or other qualified staff member who will read stories, sing songs, and play games to encourage early literacy and language development. This online friendly and informal session is delivered by one of our Early Years Specialist teachers and aims to: Raise your awareness of why talking to your child from bump onwards is very important Increase your knowledge of speech language and communication norms / development Provide ideas of how to support language development at home with everyday interactions. Little Chefz is our cooking and lunch club where we will learn all about food. We will decide which food is good and bad for us, explore kitchen safety and cleanliness, experiment with simple recipes and learn some basic skills. It's all about playing, making and creating, and we get to eat it after!
