New parents (0-1 years)
Congratulations on the birth of your little one!
Welcoming a new baby into your family is such an exciting time. You probably feel like you’ll never be able to stop gazing adoringly at this gorgeous little person who has come into your life, or stop cuddling them. Although, for some of us that takes time and early on we just feel dazed and overwhelmed. That’s perfectly normal. This section of our website is dedicated to offering support and advice to new parents.

Getting to know your baby
Welcome to the world of parenthood! The first few weeks with your newborn can be a whirlwind of emotions. But, it's also the time for bonding and getting to know your new little one and their feelings.
Feeding
Before your little one arrived you may have already made a decision on how you would feed your baby. It’s important to know that now your little one has arrived things may have not gone as you had planned, and that’s okay. This page covers common feeding questions and advice.
Sleeping
Some babies sleep for long periods, others have regular short naps. Your baby will have their own pattern of waking and sleeping and it’s unlikely to be the same as other babies.
Bonding
Bonding with your baby is one of the most important things you can do as a parent. It helps to create a strong emotional connection between you and your child, which can have a lasting impact on their development.
Baby's health and development
To help you track your little one’s development we’ve put together a guide to give you a rough idea of when they’ll start doing what. But remember all babies are different and will develop at their own pace in their own way.
Wellbeing and mental health
Becoming a new parent is a wonderful but challenging experience. It can be a time of great joy, but it can also be a time of great stress and anxiety. It's important to remember that it's normal to feel a range of emotions during this time, and that you're not alone.
